Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a great neighborhood for children and families. There are beautiful and safe parks including Riverside and Central Park. We spend hundreds of hours a year in these wonderful outdoor spaces filled with families, dogs and children of all ages. There are playgrounds, history, art and children’s museums and friendly people all over the neighborhood.
Warm & Cozy…
Our apartment is charming, sun-filled and full of character. We enjoy spending time watching our favorite TV shows or cooking in our kitchen. Our building has a lot of families and there is a sense of community among all of us (and even a private playroom on the top floor!)
When we first met we bonded over The Big Bang Theory. One of our favorite things to do is curl up on the couch after a long day and watch together. On warm nights we often eat outside on the balcony and take in the city sounds around us.
Parks all around…
Our favorite thing to do in the neighborhood is go to Riverside Park and Central Park with our friends and dogs. We also love going out to local restaurants, to museums and to various entertainment venues just blocks away from our home.
In the Winter we enjoy taking walks in the snowy parks overlooking the Hudson River. There is a zoo in walking distance of our home as well as an even larger zoo about a 30 minute drive away. Though we get out of the city from time to time for weekend getaways, we truly love discovering new things about NYC as well as relaxing at our cozy and warm home.
