Mark’s Thoughts on Nicole
Nicole is one of the strongest people I have ever met and she inspires me every day. Whether it’s her commitment to educating children, her devotion to family and friends or her work as a theater director, Nicole is dedicated to her passions and to ensuring that others find their own. She is loving, affectionate, sweet, funny, loyal, honest, gentle and feisty, a great communicator, a fiercely dedicated daughter and someone who is respected and loved by so many amazing friends and colleagues from all walks of life. I could not be prouder to call her my wife.
When I think about Nicole becoming a mother I feel so excited for the warm, caring and loving home she will create.
Nicole’s Thoughts on Mark
On our first date, Mark and I had planned to meet near the subway to visit the Botanical Gardens. I watched him from two blocks away, stopping at the two or three dogs on the street. My mother always told me that “dog” people are “good” people - And my father would never walk down the street without stopping every dog owner to either guess or inquire about the exact breed of each and every dog.
A few years into dating, I opened the door and Mark was holding in his arms, wrapped in a blanket, the sweetest and most loving gift, a beautiful little Bischon-poodle mix puppy. We named him Sheldon based on the character from the television show The Big Bang Theory.
This is Mark in a nutshell: warm and kind, playful and smart, healthy and energetic, thoughtful and generous. I can’t wait to see him become a father and shower a baby with so much love.
